Goals from Bukayo Saka, Alexandre Lacazette earn Gunners crucial victory
Arsenal moved four points clear at the top of the Premier League after a hard-fought 2-1 win over Wolverhampton Wanderers at Molineux on Saturday.
Saka, Lacazette on target
Bukayo Saka gave the Gunners an early lead with a close-range finish in the 16th minute, before Wolves equalised through Hwang Hee-chan just before the half-hour mark.
Arsenal regained the lead just before half-time when Alexandre Lacazette converted from the penalty spot after Gabriel Jesus was brought down in the area.
Lacazette's late winner
The second half was a tense affair, with both sides pushing for a winner.
Arsenal eventually secured all three points when Lacazette scored a dramatic late winner in stoppage time.
Gunners extend lead at the top
The win takes Arsenal four points clear of Manchester City at the top of the Premier League table.
Mikel Arteta's side have now won eight of their last nine league games and are in a strong position to challenge for the title.
Wolves' struggles continue
Wolves, meanwhile, remain in the relegation zone after their latest defeat.
Julen Lopetegui's side have now lost five of their last six league games and are in desperate need of a turnaround in form.
