Alexander Alexandrovich Galchenyuk

Born February 12, 1994 in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, Alexander Alexandrovich Galchenyuk is an American-Belarusian professional ice hockey center currently under contract with SKA Saint. He stands at 185 cm (6'1") tall and weighs 88 kg (194 lbs).
Career
Galchenyuk's father, Alexander, was a professional hockey player who represented Belarus internationally. Growing up in Milwaukee, Galchenyuk began playing hockey at a young age and quickly rose through the ranks of youth hockey. He was selected third overall by the Montreal Canadiens in the 2012 NHL Entry Draft.
NHL Career
Galchenyuk made his NHL debut with the Canadiens during the 2012-13 season and quickly established himself as a skilled offensive player. He has played for several NHL teams throughout his career, including the Arizona Coyotes, Pittsburgh Penguins, and Ottawa Senators.
International Career
At the international level, Galchenyuk has represented Belarus at various tournaments, including the World Junior Championships and the World Championships. He won a bronze medal with Belarus at the 2014 World Championships.
Coaching Career
In 2023, Galchenyuk announced his retirement from professional hockey and began his coaching career as an assistant coach with SKA Saint. He is currently in his first season as a coach.
